Get your Shopify orders in Nori
Every paid order in your store reaches Nori as a sales order, with the delivery address, the day and time slot the customer picked and what they already paid.
What it does
-
Sales orders
Every paid order comes in with its products, the shipping charge and the discount. The total matches Shopify's to the cent.
-
Home delivery
The shipping address is added to the customer, with the recipient as contact. You schedule it in logistics like any other delivery.
-
Delivery day and time
Nori reads the date and time slot from your store's fields or your delivery app's. You tell it what those fields are called.
-
Customer notes
What the customer wrote on a product, like a gift card message, goes in the line note. The order note goes in the document notes.
-
Payment on account
What was collected stays as a payment on account, with the tender type you chose for each Shopify payment method. It is applied on delivery or invoicing.
-
Product photos
If an item has no images in Nori, it takes the photos of the Shopify product with the same SKU.
How to connect it
Step-by-step connection guide-
1
Create an app in Shopify
In your store's admin, with permission only to read orders and products. You copy the token and the secret key.
-
2
Connect the store in Nori
In Administration › Integrations › Shopify you paste the .myshopify.com domain, the token and the key, and test the connection.
-
3
Subscribe to notices
With one button, Shopify tells Nori about every new, paid or cancelled order. If a notice gets lost, Nori checks the store every 15 minutes.
-
4
Set how orders come in
You choose the series, warehouse, shipping item, the tender type for each payment method and the names of your date and time fields.
What it does not do
- Nori only reads your store: it does not change products, prices or stock in Shopify.
- It does not create items. If a SKU does not exist in Nori, the order waits in review until you add it.
- Orders waiting for payment, like bank transfer or cash on delivery, come in once Shopify marks them paid.
- It does not bring orders from before you connected the store.
What it costs
Shopify bills you its plan directly, as it does today. Nori charges nothing per order.
Frequently asked questions
How does Nori find my products?
By SKU. The SKU of each variant in Shopify must be the item code in Nori.
Will it work for my store?
Yes. What is particular to each store is set up: payment methods, the names of the delivery fields and lines that are not products, like a tip.
What if the customer paid only part of it?
Only what was paid is recorded, and you collect the rest in Nori.
What happens if an order is cancelled in Shopify?
If you have not touched it in Nori, the sales order is cancelled with its payment. If you already delivered or invoiced it, it goes to review for you to decide.
