Route sales for Microsip users
If your office runs on Microsip, Nori adds an app for your route sales reps: orders, truck sales, collections and settlement when they get back.
There is no direct connector with Microsip yet. In the demo we work out how to move the data in your case.

-
Routes on the map
Group your customers by visit day.
-
Sales without signal
The app saves each sale and sends it when the connection comes back.
-
Bluetooth receipts
The sales rep prints at each stop with a portable printer.
-
Settlement
When the truck is back, you reconcile it item by item.
Who it's for
Microsip is an ERP used in Mexico. Many companies there have run their back office on it for years, and their accountant already works with it. They have no plans to replace it. What they want is better control of what happens on the street, where sales reps take orders, sell from the truck and collect payments.
Nori handles that part. Your sales reps use the app on their phones, the supervisor follows the routes from the office, and each truck is settled when it comes back. Microsip keeps doing what it already does well for you.
To be clear up front: there is no direct connector between Nori and Microsip yet. Route sales and payments don't show up in Microsip on their own. In the demo we look at what data you need to move and the simplest way to do it in your case.
A route day with Nori
-
6:30
Day plan
You generate the routes in Day planning. Nori picks the customers due that day, in order, and suggests the truck load based on their recent purchases.
-
7:00
Loading
You print the load sheet, sorted in reverse route order, and create the transfer from the distribution center to the truck.
-
8:00
Start route
The sales rep enters the change fund they're carrying and heads out. At each customer they tap Arrived, and Nori records the time and location.
-
11:00
Sales and collections
They sell from the truck, take orders for a later visit or collect open invoices. If there's no sale, they record the reason.
-
13:00
Day board
From the office you see visits done vs. planned and sales vs. target for each route, on a map that refreshes every minute.
-
18:00
Settlement
You count the truck and the cash against what Nori expects. Shortages and overages are recorded, and the sales rep's register is closed with its cash count.
How data moves until there's a connector
- The items, prices and customers the route uses are set up in Nori. In the demo we look at how to do the first load from what you have in Microsip.
- Nori's document and payment lists export to Excel, filtered by date, series or sales rep. Your team uses that to enter what it needs in Microsip.
- Nori has a documented REST API. If you have someone in IT, they can use it to move the data their own way.
- Decide early which system stamps the route's invoices (CFDI, Mexico's e-invoice), so the same sale isn't stamped twice.
- The same goes for truck inventory: we agree on where the stock that goes out on the street is tracked and how often it's reconciled with Microsip.
What the app gives your routes
-
Presale, van sales or delivery
Each route has its own sales model, distribution center, truck and departure days.
-
Loaned equipment
Track the cooler or display you lend each customer and its maintenance, with photos and temperature.
-
Collections during the visit
The sales rep collects open invoices. If they don't pick one, the payment goes to the oldest.
-
Product pickup
Expired or damaged product goes to the on-board returns warehouse with its reason and isn't resold.
-
Price checker
Scan a barcode to see the price and stock by warehouse on the phone.
When the sales rep loses signal
On the highway or in areas with no coverage, the app keeps working with the customers, items and prices saved on the phone. Each sale, payment or visit goes into a queue and is sent automatically when the signal comes back.
Each operation carries its own key. If the phone sends it twice because the signal kept dropping, Nori records it only once. In More › Synchronization, the sales rep sees how many operations are waiting and can force the upload before settlement.
Example
A water company with four routes
El Manantial Water (a sample company) keeps its accounting and invoicing in Microsip. It runs four van sales trucks with about 45 customers per route a day, and it used to reconcile each truck by hand from the sales rep's notes.
With Nori each sales rep heads out with the route on their phone and prints the receipt at each stop. When the trucks come back, each one is settled in a few minutes, because Nori already knows how much went out, how much was sold and how much cash should come back. At closing, the office manager exports the day's sales and payments to Excel and enters them in Microsip.

Frequently asked questions
Does Nori connect directly with Microsip?
There is no direct connector yet. In the demo we look at what data you need to move and how to do it in your case.
Do I have to stop using Microsip?
No. Microsip keeps doing what it already does for you, and Nori handles route sales.
Does the app work without signal?
Yes. It stores the route's products and customers on the phone and sends anything pending when the connection comes back, without duplicating sales or payments.
What phones do my sales reps need?
An Android phone or an iPhone with the Nori app. To print receipts at each stop, a portable Bluetooth printer.
Can I invoice from the route?
Nori stamps CFDI 4.0. If you invoice in Microsip today, in the demo we decide which of the two stamps the route's sales so nothing is stamped twice.
