Home deliveries

For businesses that take the goods to the job site or the customer's home, free or charged. If you charge for it, add a freight line; there are no shipping costs to set up.

1. Marking the document

On a delivery, an invoice or a reserve invoice, go to the Logistics tab:

1. Choose the Shipping address.
2. Under Home delivery, check Ship to the customer's address.
3. Check the Directions. If the address already has them, those are used; type others when needed.
4. If the customer asked for a day or a time window, enter them.
5. Locate on the map lets you tap the exact point. Nori does not geocode: the point is saved with the address for next time.
6. If the customer pays on receipt, check Cash on delivery.

A partial delivery of a reserve invoice is marked the same way. Cash on delivery is applied to the reserve invoice, which is what is owed.

2. The logistics board

Sales › Home deliveries shows what has to leave the distribution center you work in; you can pick another one or all. Each card has the document, the address and directions, what to load, the zone and whether to collect. It refreshes every minute.

3. Scheduling

Schedule offers two ways:

• Route day: the delivery joins the customer's stop on that plan (or a stop is created) and the driver sees it in My route and in the app.
• No route: date, vehicle and driver. When it leaves, press Out for delivery.

When the driver starts the day, the deliveries on that route move to In transit by themselves.

4. Delivering

In My route, at the customer's stop, the Home deliveries button lists what goes there. The driver types who received it, takes a photo and presses Delivered; the location is saved too. With cash on delivery, the payment is recorded first. If it could not be delivered, the driver types why and presses Not delivered: it goes back to the board to be scheduled again.

Without a route, logistics confirms from the board with the same data.

A reserve invoice shipped whole is delivered at that moment: Nori creates the delivery of what is left and stock goes down.

5. The status on the document

The document's Logistics tab shows whether the delivery is to schedule, scheduled, on its way, delivered or not delivered, with the date, vehicle, driver, who received it and the photo.

Permissions

Home deliveries: view the logistics board and schedule, dispatch and confirm deliveries. They come with the Logistics and Supervisor roles. The driver also needs My route (work the route), which comes with the Logistics role and is covered by the Logistics license.
