Collect payments with Recaudo

Connect your Recaudo account in one click to send documents by WhatsApp, collect with payment links, get payments already applied to your invoices, and give each customer an online account statement.

Updated on October 24, 2026

Recaudo is the payments and WhatsApp platform that works alongside Nori. Once your account is connected:

  • You can send invoices, orders and payment receipts by WhatsApp.
  • You can create payment links for one invoice, several invoices, or the customer's full balance.
  • Payments your customers make in Recaudo flow into Nori automatically, already applied to their invoices.
  • Each customer has an online Account statement where they can download their invoices and pay.

Connect your account

  1. Go to Administration › Integrations › Recaudo.
  2. Click Connect with Recaudo. Recaudo opens. Sign in and authorize Nori.
  3. Recaudo sends you back to Nori with the message Recaudo is connected and your account name.

Once you're connected, Nori handles the rest:

  • It registers its webhook in Recaudo, so payments and WhatsApp delivery statuses come in automatically.
  • It loads your WhatsApp templates and flows so you can pick them on the same page.
  • It adds your customers who have an email address as Recaudo customers.

If you can't use the button, open Advanced options: API key and enter a Recaudo secret key. You don't need a key if the account is connected.

If you see "Recaudo was disconnected"

Recaudo can stop accepting the connection, for example if access was revoked or it went unused for many weeks. You'll see a red banner at the top of the screen, and the integration shows an error. Go to Integrations › Recaudo and click Reconnect. Until you do, no payments come in and no WhatsApp messages go out.

Disconnect

Disconnect removes Nori's webhook from Recaudo and deletes the connection. Payments already recorded stay as they are.

Automatic payment application

When a customer pays in Recaudo, Nori records the payment right away, outside any register, with the payment method you chose in the integration settings. Here's how it's applied:

  • Link for one or more invoices: to those invoices.
  • Balance link, or a payment with no invoice specified: to the customer's open invoices, in the order you set in Balance payments that name no invoice (earliest due date first, or most recent first).
  • Partial payments: each one is recorded as its own payment and covers part of the invoices. The link stays open until the full amount is paid.
  • If the customer overpays, the excess stays on their account as a credit.

Each Recaudo payment is recorded only once, even if Recaudo sends the notification twice. In the customer's history, these payments have the Recaudo tag.

If you issue CFDI (Mexico's e-invoice) and the invoice is PPD (paid in installments or deferred), Nori stamps the payment complement automatically. If the PAC (SAT-authorized certification provider) fails, the attempt is saved on the payment so you can retry it. The payment also goes to your ERP like any other payment.

Online account statement

Each customer has a public page with:

  • Their open documents, with the PDF and XML.
  • Their balance and its aging.
  • Pay selected and Pay everything buttons, which open card checkout in Recaudo. When they're done, the customer lands back on their account statement.

The link is private: it only works as a complete URL, doesn't appear in search engines, and is rate-limited per minute.

To send it, open the customer and click Account statement under Account. From there you can open the link, copy it, or send it by email or WhatsApp.

The standard invoice and account statement layouts print a QR code with that link. If your layouts were installed earlier, ask your administrator to update them. In a custom layout, add a QR code barcode with the portal_url field (on invoices, from the documentos data set; on the account statement, from socio).
